CHEMICAL VOMIT Parts Ways With Drummer, Seeks Replacement

July 23, 2006

Birmingham, England grindcore/noise band CHEMICAL VOMIT has parted ways with drummer Alex "Godamiam" Mason. The band, who recently announced that their debut album will include a guest appearance on one or two tracks from BAL-SAGOTH keyboard player Jonny Maulding, is currently seeking a replacement from the West Midlands, England area.

Formed in 2005 with a two-piece lineup, CHEMICAL VOMIT gradually evolved into a full-fledged band. Last year also saw CHEMICAL VOMIT getting signed to small independent label, DeathDeaf Records. Two of the band's songs — "Dragon Porn" and "Doug Has Acne" — were used for the "Created to Kill" compilation CD.

CHEMICAL VOMIT expects to release its debut album in late 2006/early 2007.
